Daniel joined Deloitte in 1998 and was appointed into the Deloitte Africa partnership in 2013. He was appointed Country Managing Partner on 1 June 2020. He also doubles as the Audit leader for Ghana and serves on the Deloitte West Africa Executive Committee.

Daniel serves as a member of the West Africa Audit leadership committee and a member of Deloitte West Africa quality Board.

Over his 24-year experience with the firm, Dan has served in several roles including the Professional Practice Director (PPD) for Ghana. He has unrivalled knowledge and experience in accounting, internal and external audit. He also has extensive experience in advisory services and has built a solid reputation in leading complex assignments across several sectors including Financial Services; Consumer and Industrial Markets; and Telecom, Media & Technology.

Daniel has worked in the Deloitte London office UK, as a Manager with the Enterprise Risk Services (ERS) now Risk Advisory (RA) unit. In addition to working in the UK, Daniel has worked in South Africa, Mali, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Kenya and Egypt.

He is a product of the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) now University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA). He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG) and serves as a member of the Professional Standards and Ethics Committee (PSEC) of the Institute. He is also a member of the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), (USA). Daniel holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester, (UK) and a MSc. Computer Systems Auditing from the London Metropolitan University, (UK).
