Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant (Account Receivable) is responsible for managing the accounts receivable function within the logistics, clearing & forwarding, and depot management firm. This role involves ensuring the timely collection of payments from clients, maintaining accurate records of all transactions, and supporting the financial stability of the organization. The Accountant will work closely with various departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Receivable Management
2. Financial Reporting and Reconciliation
3. Client Relationship Management
4. Documentation and Record-Keeping
5. Credit Control
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounts receivable.
Experience with Accounting Software. Knowledge in Oracle NetSuite will be an added advantage.
Experience in Data analytics
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A strong understanding of the logistics industry and its financial operations is highly advantageous.
