Honoring the Memory of a Valued Alumna: The UPSA Global Alumni Association Supports Bereaved Family with a GH₵ 20,000 Cheque

The UPSA Global Alumni Association, dedicated to supporting and connecting its alumni, recently demonstrated a touching act of compassion and solidarity. The Association mourns the loss of one of its esteemed members from the 1992-year group, Susan Abiana Nelson.

In a wholehearted gesture, the President of the Association presented a cheque for GH₵20,000 to the late alumna’s son Nana Kwame, supported by Paulina Nelson, his aunt, at the funeral. This financial support was made possible through the Enterprise Life Alumni Insurance Policy she had subscribed to with the Association.

This act of kindness underscores the strong bonds within the UPSA community and the association’s commitment to supporting its members and their families in times of need. The UPSA Global Alumni Association extends its deepest condolences to the family and remains dedicated to honouring the legacy of its members.

So far, the policy has paid GH₵ 372,500.00 in claims to 36 members.
