THE FOUNDER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES, ACCRA, AND HIS CHILDREN VISIT THE PRESIDENT OF UPSA GLOBAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
On 14th November, 2024, the founder of UPSA, Nana (Dr.) Opoku Ampomah, the Omanhene of the Amoafo Traditional Area, and some of his children paid a surprise and historic visit to the president of the UPSA Global Alumni Association, Mr. Francis Dadzie, at the Alumni Office.
The visit was a reciprocal one, and it was to thank and appreciate the president and the Alumni Association for the honour done to them during the 95th birthday celebration of the founder on 28th August, 2023. They also took the opportunity to celebrate and present gifts to the president to commemorate his birthday, which fell on 4th November, 2024.
The students were elated to see the founder of the university and seized the opportunity to take photographs with him and appreciate him for his vision of establishing the university, which has culminated in giving more students the opportunity to enrol and acquire a university education.
His children were elated and satisfied with the progress of the university and took the opportunity to thank the Alumni Association for their good work and readiness to support the university.
Two of the founder’s children are alumna, and the third is a current student of the university’s Law Faculty.
