UPSA alumni, three other associations participate in health walk
Dozens of UPSA alumni have participated in a 10-kilometre health walk with past students of three other public universities.
The event dubbed Alumni-Connect 2023 was aimed at encouraging participants to prioritise their health and well-being while fostering a sense of community, collaboration, and networking.
The health walk, which took place at the University of Ghana campus on Friday, December 1, saw the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of members from UPSA and three other alumni associations.
They included the University of Ghana Alumni Association, the Kwame University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Alumni Association, and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Alumni Association.
President of the UPSA Global Alumni Association, Francis Dadzie, addressing the participants after the walk, emphasised the importance of prioritising health and well-being in the fast-paced world.
He advised members to pay critical attention to their health needs by engaging in physical and outdoor activities.
