UPSA SRC 2025 PRESENTS GHC10, 000 TO GLOBAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
In a heartfelt show of gratitude, the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Students’ Representative Council (SRC) 2025 paid a special visit to the office of the UPSA Global Alumni Association on 26th of July, 2025. The purpose of the visit was to present a generous token of appreciation which is an amount of GHC10, 000 to the Association’s President, Mr. Francis Dadzie.
The gesture was made in recognition of the Association’s unwavering commitment and continuous contributions to the welfare of students and the development of the university at large.
During the meeting, the SRC President, on behalf of the student body, commended the Global Alumni Association for its consistent efforts in supporting student-centred initiatives, mentorship programs, and strategic collaborations that have positively impacted student life on campus.
In addition to the presentation, the SRC also used the opportunity to brief the Association on their upcoming SRC Week Celebration, scheduled to begin on 5th July 2025. They appealed to the Global Alumni Association for support, specifically in the area of securing sponsorships that will help make the week-long celebration impactful and engaging for students.
The week is expected to feature a variety of activities aimed at enriching the student experience and fostering a sense of unity, creativity, and development within the student community.
In response, the President of the Global Alumni Association expressed deep appreciation for the donation and assured the SRC of the Association’s continued support. He also commended the SRC for their foresight and commitment to student development, promising to explore possible avenues to assist with sponsorship and engagement for the upcoming celebration. Mr. Francis Dadzie stated that the money received from the SRC will be donated to the UPSA Police Station for the purchase of a reservoir.
This act of appreciation and collaboration highlights the growing synergy between the student leadership and the alumni community a partnership that continues to shape the future of UPSA.
