Mr. Albert Amponsem, a distinguished financial expert, has recently been appointed as the Director of Finance for GIMPA. With over two decades of experience, Mr. Amponsem has demonstrated exceptional leadership and financial acumen throughout his career.

His academic credentials are equally impressive. He holds the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification through the London College of Accountancy, a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Wales, UK, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the London School of Commerce, UK. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK, and is an ACCA Certified Accounting Technician.

He began his professional journey at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), where he graduated in 2003. Over the years, he advanced through various roles, starting as an Accountant and rising to Senior Accountant, Acting head of Internal Audit, and Deputy Director of Finance. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping the financial strategies of UPSA.
