Upsa Global Alumni Association Presents Ghc10, 000 Cheque to Kweku Odame Takyi
The UPSA Global Alumni Association made a cheque presentation of GHC10, 000 to Kweku Odame Takyi, a resident of Accra and a distinguished alumnus of the University of Professional Studies, Accra belonging to the 1986-year group.
Mr. Takyi, a retiree and beneficiary of the Enterprise life insurance policy introduced by the alumni group to cater for the welfare of its members and provide them relief in times of need was grateful for the kind gesture.
He said, “I am proud to be associated with the UPSA Global Alumni because it has over the past few years had the welfare of members at heart and also served as a pillar of support.”
He encouraged other former students of the university to join the UPSA Global Alumni Association to make it an even more formidable unit.
On his part, the indefatigable President of the Association Francis Dadzie outlined the benefits of joining the Alumni group.
“This is about the umpteenth time I have spoken about the benefits of joining our UPSA Global Alumni. We make sure that we are always available to support a member in any way we can at their time of need. We therefore encourage anyone with association to UPSA to join us make this group even more formidable”
The Alumni group plans to incorporate every member of the current student body (about 120,000) to the group in the near future and has already taken measures to ensure that this ambition becomes a great reality.
